Colton's Story

Colton wants more people to understand the pain of kids with cancer. Colton has always drawn people to him with his kindness and leadership, nurtured through a childhood in South Korea as a military child.

Moving to Columbus, Georgia in 2022, he eagerly embraced soccer, made new friends, and cherished family time. By February 2023, his energy waned, initially attributed to respiratory and ear infections. Concerns deepened after persistent illness and a family tragedy.

Pushing for answers, a blood test revealed 4% blasts, leading to a leukemia diagnosis in April. Prompt treatment began as his condition rapidly escalated. Colton’s journey against B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia epitomizes courage and resilience.

Supported by Children’s, he achieved remission after intense chemotherapy. Facing a long recovery, his family finds strength in each phase together. Colton’s bravery shines, inspiring others in the fight against childhood cancer.
