Bria's Story

Bria was born a perfectly healthy, full term infant. At around 2 1/2 months old, Bria developed spots on her skin that we later found out was a very rare initial symptom of leukemia called leukemia cutis. After a workup initiated by her pediatrician which included a skin biopsy and blood work, we were referred to the Aflac team at CHOA who performed a bone marrow biopsy. Bria was diagnosed with AML leukemia on 7/20/16 at just 3 months old.

She completed 4 rounds of chemo and spent 99 days inpatient but was officially declared off treatment 12/2016.

She is now a thriving 8 year old who will be 8 years in remission in August. She loves cheerleading, gymnastics, softball, basketball, dancing, singing, and hanging out with her friends. We are so thankful for her and the miracle of her life.

By making a donation, you are directly supporting childhood cancer research through the Rally Foundation.

Your donation will contribute to the ongoing efforts to develop better treatments with fewer long-term side effects, and ultimately, find cures for young patients like Bria. Stand with us in this critical cause and help bring hope to children and families battling cancer.
