Faith's Story

At fifteen, I found a golf ball-sized lump on my chest and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma in my neck, chest, and lungs. I underwent six rounds of chemotherapy and became cancer-free. However, after six months, I relapsed.

Four rounds of ICE chemotherapy helped in my lungs, but not enough. Six rounds of immunotherapy and targeted radiation followed, all unsuccessful. I applied for clinical trials and received CAR-T Cell Therapy at UNC, achieving remission.

Three years later, another lump appeared, revealing Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma again, now in multiple areas. Chemotherapy finally worked after years of resistance, preparing me for a Bone Marrow Transplant in June 2023, followed by proton therapy.

Three months into recovery, a new lump led to a biopsy, uncovering Stage 4 Large B-cell lymphoma, a result of past treatments. Treatment included 6 rounds of intense chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and spinal taps. I completed the treatment and I'm now in remission!

By making a donation, you are directly supporting childhood cancer research through the Rally Foundation.
