Madison's Story

Maddie was diagnosed with High Risk B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June of 2022. Maddie had been complaining about pain in her right right arm a couple months prior, but it went away.

In May, Maddie’s family had just returned from a beach trip and the pain returned. She began running low grade fevers and was more lethargic than usual. Maddie’s parents decided to take her to the pediatrician and blood work was done. Less than 5 minutes later, Maddie was referred to an oncologist at Vanderbilt.

As soon as her parents heard the word “oncologist”, their world was turned upside down. At 4 years old, Maddie was diagnosed with cancer and admitted to the hospital the same day.

We are proud of our Rally Kids and their brave fight.
