Rally Kid Emma's Story
Emma is a sweet, lovable 8yr old girl. Emma was diagnosed at 3 1/2 (01/20/2020) with Neuroblastoma stage 4 cancer. We traveled to Boston children’s hospital and Dartmouth Hitchcock (our main hospital). She had stem cell treatments with her own cells. 12 hr tumor surgery. Many chemo rounds, immunotherapy. She went into remission for two years. May of 2024 she relapse metastasis in completely different areas then before. Her jaw, tumor in head, her facial skeleton, bone marrow. She started this round with a round of different chemos which ended up making spots grow and new ones added. Then she did two different rounds of mibg therapy radiation, which was awful. She also did radiation at main hospital for last spot in jaw, we are now doing at bay meds since spot in jaw has remained small.
