Rally Kid Wilder's Story
Wilder is 5 years old and the second youngest of 7 kids. In Nov 2024, he was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Intermediate Risk. He is considered Intermediate Risk because his white blood cell count was so high & 90% of his bone marrow at the initial testing for diagnosis was leukemia cells.
He did 35 days in the hospital for Induction phase where he received 56 doses of steroids, bone marrow biopsies, spinal taps, blood & platelet tranfusions, & weekly rounds of chemotherapy. He is in his 6th month of treatment which includes weekly chemo & spinal taps, steroid blocks, consistent transfusions, plus chemo at home via oral & injections.
Assuming there’s no relapse, Wilder has 3 more years of constant chemotherapy, plus 2 more for follow-up, and then survivorship clinic indefinitely. He has a lifetime of worrying about long-term side effects & secondary cancers. He is a warrior though, having already done 21 days in the NICU & numerous other health struggles through his early years. We are hopeful for a victorious outcome!
By buying a shirt, you are directly supporting childhood cancer research through the Rally Foundation. Every day, 47 children are diagnosed with cancer—a heartbreaking statistic that drives our mission forward. Your purchase will contribute to the ongoing efforts to develop better treatments with fewer long-term side effects, and ultimately, find a cure. Stand with us in this critical cause and help bring hope to children and families battling cancer—so that one day, no child has to face this fight.
