Rally Kid Solomon's Story

Solomon was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL on September 15th 2021, his 4 ½ birthday. The mutated cells were so compacted in his bone marrow the oncology team could not take a sample for his treatment for 3 weeks. He was unable to walk and slept in his parents’ bed for months after diagnosis, his room was moved to the main level of their home to accommodate carrying him to and from activities. 2 months into treatment, and after a lot of physical therapy, Solomon regained leg strength. He proceeded his chemotherapy treatment actively within the first 8 moths of treatment. He endured several ER visits for infections due to his suppressed immune system, once landing another stay in the hospital right before his kindergarten school year. He did 2.5 years of chemotherapy treatment and rang the bell December 1st of 2024. Solomon is currently 8 years of age and in 3rd grade.
