Rally Kid Sanearea's Story

On the early morning of January 3, 2025, at the Children’s Hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee, I found out that my baby girl had cancer. It was the most devastating news a parent could ever hear. In that moment, my mind was flooded with negative thoughts. Even more heartbreaking was having to tell my daughter that she had cancer and seeing the look of horror on her face, with tears of sadness streaming down. All I could do was pray and hope that my daughter would make it through this traumatic time. Fearing the worst for your child puts you in a deeply distressing place. After the diagnosis—Stage 4 Neuroblastoma—Sanearea’s journey began. She went from being overwhelmed with fear and enduring painful treatments she could hardly bear back in January, to now being a happy, worry-free child. Today, Sanearea feels like herself again and is once more able to enjoy her childhood, filled with laughter and fun.

By making a donation, you are directly supporting childhood cancer research through the Rally Foundation.

Your donation will contribute to the ongoing efforts to develop better treatments with fewer long-term side effects, and ultimately, find cures for young patients like Wesley. Stand with us in this critical cause and help bring hope to children and families battling cancer.

This year, 47 Faces is more than a campaign — it is a special edition celebrating Rally’s 20th anniversary. Give now to honor two decades of progress and help fund the next 20 years of groundbreaking childhood cancer research. Together, we can find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. If you would like to learn more about Rally's 20th Anniversary click here:
