Rally Kid Camden's Story
Camden Pancner a brave, resilient, strong & compassionate, kind hearted child who unfortunately was dealt a hand that no child should ever have to hold. On June 4th 2020, Camden was diagnosed with a form of brain cancer, Medulloblastoma. While diagnosed with this cancer Camden faced many struggles and hardships along the way including loss of vision, the abilities walk and speak, radiation treatments, feeding tubes, long hospital stays, permanent shunt, port-a-cath & chemotherapy. Camden's radiant heart of hope always kept him positive throughout the process along with the support & prayers of our family, friends & community. On Dec 23rd 2021 we received the call after our last MRI that he is Cancer free. Shortly after he was able to ring the Victory bell at USA children's and women's hospital. We are beyond blessed to have such a supportive group, family, friends.
Camden is still recovering from his journey but everyday we are getting better & stronger. He is currently enrolled at Fairhope East elementary starting 5th grade. Here he's learning braille and other educational things required for his special needs. He's also excelling in physical therapy and looking forward competing in the Special Olympics for the 3rd year.
