Rally Kid Emma's Story
In December 2020, at 4 years old, Emma was diagnosed with a malignant rhabdoid tumor in her pelvis. Unfortunately, the tumor was inoperable so she began treatment within days of diagnosis. Her treatment consisted of 1 year IV chemotherapy and 30 radiation treatments, with an additional year of maintenance oral chemotherapy. She received her first NED scan one year after diagnosis in December 2021 and completed all therapy in December 2022.
Today she is 9 years old and almost 3 years off treatment and thriving! She just started 4th grade and recently had her first visit with survivor clinic. She loves playing softball and is looking forward to another season starting soon. She is our warrior and we are so proud of her!
