Rally Kid Hailey Research Fund

Hailey's story began at a check up when she was seven months old. She had been very healthy up until that point - hitting all milestones, eating, sleeping well, smiling, laughing, playing, etc. Everything looked great at her visit except that her head was constantly cocked to her right side with her chin rotated towards her left shoulder. The pediatrician diagnosed her with torticollis, a tightening of the neck muscles, so we began physical therapy at the hospital and at home. Hailey also began to vomit every morning after breakfast and began refusing solid foods. She was then sent for an upper GI and blood work, and all came back normal. A new pediatrician ordered an MRI, which revealed that Hailey had two masses in her brain and a build up of cerebrospinal fluid. She had an AT/RT brain tumor. Hailey lost her battle to childhood cancer in 2010 but her legacy lives on. She is loved and remembered by many.
