Rally Kid Korbin's Story
Cancer is the number one disease killer of kids in America, with 47 children diagnosed every day. Unlike adult cancers, childhood cancers are biologically different and require specialized research. Despite this urgent need, there is a stark disparity in drug development: in the past 28 years, only six drugs have been approved by the FDA for childhood cancers, compared to 200 for adult cancers in just six years. This highlights the critical need for more focus and investment in pediatric cancer research.
