Rally Kid Carson's Story

In August of 2021, Carson was diagnosed with Stage 4 Olfactory Neuroblastoma, an incredibly rare and aggressive cancer. This type of tumor is usually only found in adults between 50 and 70 years old. For a child to be diagnosed was almost unheard of; only one person in 2.5 million each year is affected. Carson’s journey began when his mom noticed his left eye bulging and a swollen lymph node in his neck. A series of scans revealed a large tumor spreading through his sinus cavities and into his face. Despite the rarity of his diagnosis, Carson bravely endured six months of intensive chemotherapy, followed by surgery to remove the tumor and part of his sinus lining, and then a month of daily radiation. In July of 2022, the family heard the words they had been praying for “remission.” But just a month later, their world turned upside down again. Carson’s first aftercare scan revealed new tumors in his brain and spinal cord. Despite every effort including entering a new clinical trial, Carson’s body could not overcome the disease. On November 6, 2022, Carson gained his angel wings at just 10 years old. Although his time on earth was far too short, Carson’s courage, smile, and spirit continue to touch lives daily. His mom is now building a non-profit in his honor, dedicated to spreading awareness about childhood cancer, advocating for more research, and supporting families who are walking the same devastating road. Why We Need Your Support Childhood cancer receives less than 8% of federal cancer research funding, leaving children like Carson to face treatment plans designed for adults. Families are left clinging to hope, while children endure the fight of their lives with limited options. By donating, you are honoring Carson’s legacy and helping to fund research, raise awareness, and give other children the chance at a future that Carson was denied. Carson’s story is one of strength, love, and unbreakable hope. With your support, we can ensure his light continues to shine, guiding us toward a world where no child has to face cancer alone.

By buying a shirt, you are directly supporting childhood cancer research through the Rally Foundation. Every day, 47 children are diagnosed with cancer—a heartbreaking statistic that drives our mission forward. Your purchase will contribute to the ongoing efforts to develop better treatments with fewer long-term side effects, and ultimately, find a cure. Stand with us in this critical cause and help bring hope to children and families battling cancer—so that one day, no child has to face this fight.
