Rally Kid Sarah's Story
Sarah is a 12 year old, 2 time cancer fighter. When she was 4 she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that greatly increased her risk for cancer, along with several other life threatening diseases. At 7, she began active treatment for Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. After 2 years she rang the bell.
One year later, a week after returning home from Curefest in Washington DC where she brought her Non Profit Sarah’s Warriors, advocated for Childhood Cancer at the Capitol, and spent time with old friends and making new ones, she found a rapidly growing lump by her eye. She immediately had scans and for the last 2 years has been in active treatment for a Non-Rhabdomyosarcoma Soft Tissue Sarcomas.
Sarah doesn’t let cancer define her. She spends her time playing on her travel softball team, running her non profit, and playing Minecraft.
