Rally Kid Tinleigh's Story
At just 4 years old, her childhood changed forever. What began as concerning symptoms became a diagnosis no family expects to hear: clear cell meningioma, a rare and aggressive brain tumor. Instead of playgrounds and birthday parties, her world became hospital rooms, MRI scans, and surgeries. She underwent two brain surgeries followed by 33 rounds of radiation. Every procedure brought new challenges, but she continued to fight with remarkable strength. Through every setback, she smiled, learned, laughed, and reminded those around her what courage looks like. After years of recovery, the tumor returned in 2019. The news was devastating. Once again, she faced brain surgery, proving that even after everything she had already endured, she wasn't finished fighting. Following her third brain surgery, life slowly began to feel normal again. Nearly seven years passed in remission. Each birthday, holiday, and ordinary day became a gift that her family cherished. Then, just two weeks before Christmas, the unimaginable happened again. After nearly seven years of remission, the tumor returned. The holiday season became another chapter filled with uncertainty, appointments, and difficult decisions. Her journey has been about much more than fighting a tumor. The lasting effects of treatment have required more than 15 additional surgeries. Each operation represents another obstacle she has faced with extraordinary resilience. Her story isn't defined by the number of surgeries, radiation treatments, or hospital stays. It's defined by courage. Through every relapse, every scar, and every challenge, she has shown what perseverance truly looks like.
