Rally Kid Janely's Story
It was April 13, 2025. Janely was feeling sick with muscle aches and some bruises. Like any mom, I thought she might have fallen and that was the cause, so I took her to the emergency room because she also had a fever. When we arrived, they gave us the bad news: something wasn't right with her blood, and we needed to send her to hematologists and oncologists to find out what was wrong. They sent us, and after examining her and running tests, the results showed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), the worst diagnosis any parent can hear. The first thing I thought when I heard "cancer" was "death." We had so much. Today I thank God for putting excellent doctors in our path who have given everything to save my girl. The road has been very hard, but she is very brave and strong. We are winning the battle against cancer. Thank you, my girl, for continuing to give it your all and not giving up. You have a very clear goal in your mind, and I know you will win this battle because you are a warrior. We admire you so much, my brave heart. ❤️
