Rally Kid Pollyanna's Story
Like most families we were thrown into the wild rapids of cancer. Seemingly submerged with so much information at once and struggling to come up for air. On October 4, 2025 we went to the doctor for what we thought was a cold and ended up 3 hours away at the hospital being told our beautiful perfect daughter has cancer. The worst part is there are still no answers as to what causes this to happen and although there are changes and strides being made to the treatment of this cancer, we need to put this issue at the forefront. This is our future and childhood cancer is on the rise. Why and what can we do? These are the questions that are most important to me having been in the hospitals next to mothers like me caring for there beautiful perfect child who is facing a battle most grown ups would fear. It’s a place where we are all humbled and clinging to the hope of our children being healed.
