Rally Kid Genevieve's Story
Genevieve and Annalee, both Rally Kids and childhood cancer survivors, met when Annalee went to Colorado on her wish trip to see snow. Genevieve’s family often volunteers with Make-A-Wish Colorado and jumped at the chance to welcome Annalee and her family and play in the snow together. They greeted them at the airport, and it was friendship at first sight! The families met in the mountains to play in the snow. What began as a fun day together turned into three unforgettable days filled with laughter, adventure, and the best memories. When it was time to say goodbye, they all left knowing they had made friends for life. The girls continue to video call often, sometimes talking for hours, proving that distance can never get in the way of a true friendship. When Annalee rang the cancer bell, Genevieve’s family flew to Florida to celebrate with her. They wouldn’t have missed it for anything! Through every challenge and every celebration, Genevieve and Annalee have formed an unbreakable bond. Their friendship is a beautiful reminder that even in the hardest moments, having someone by your side can make all the difference. Friends truly do make the fight brighter!
