Rally Kid Bukhbilig's Story
Buku was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL) in September 2024. Since then, he has gone through many rounds of chemotherapy, hospital stays, difficult side effects, procedures, and unexpected challenges. Through it all, he continues to smile, go to school when he can, enjoy the things he loves, and show us what courage looks like every day.
Our family has learned that childhood cancer affects so much more than a child’s health. It changes everyday life for the entire family, but it has also taught us to appreciate the little moments, make memories together, and never take an ordinary day for granted.
Buku is now continuing his treatment, and we are incredibly grateful for every step forward. We hope that by sharing his story and supporting childhood cancer research, we can help create a future where children have safer treatments, fewer long-term side effects, and better chances to grow up and live the lives they dream about. Every child deserves a childhood beyond cancer.
